Fiscal Sponsorships Allow Us To Help Emerging Storytellers Across Mediums

GAZER

Frankie, a young mother with dyschronometria, struggles to perceive time. Using cassette tapes for guidance, she takes a risky job from a mysterious woman to support her family, unaware of the dark consequences that await.

Open Variations Theater came on as a fiscal sponsor to help director Ryan Sloan finish his ambitious self-funded debut feature film. Shot on 16mm film, this neo-noir thriller had its world premiere at the Director's Fortnight Sidebar of the Cannes Film Festival in 2024 and has already been acquired by Metrograph Pictures.
